Today i bought a loaf of rosemary bread and some olives
A giant yellow apple from a woman with slender fingers
And some strawberries from a man who winked at me.
I went home and ate soup.
and peeled the apple in one long tendril like a garland who's end went straight to my mouth.

Someone once asked her what she taught her children.

Let the record show: the history of the zipper is not interesting or clever.
At all.
Dont wickapedia "zipper" Just be grateful to a bunch of incrimentally resourceful, albeit boring people that you dont have to button your fly.
Unless you're amish, in which case, button away. And get off the computer.
No seriously.

Finger Puppets of Destiny

I love this.

What do we think?

This is a really big painting. like 20x24. It felt really strange to put a pen to a $15 sheet of paper.
Its taken me longer than most things i paint. Like 3 days.
Its what i came up with when i was trying to draw Mutley. For the record, it doesnt look a thing like Mutley.
Its called "What We Think"
Almost done.

Squeeve the Snarfle

This is a different artist, SQUEEVE THE SNARFLE??? Seriously folks.

fuzzy monster

i am pretty much in love with this little guy.

Saturday, November 3, 2007

he sat at the window, looking.

He sat at the window. Looking.
Hands turned in, fingers sandwiched between leg and bench,
a puddle of breath on the pane.
"He is more immobile than a child ought to be",
Thought his slack faced mother from the doorway.
But it was of little importance.
Her doughy gaze turned to aching stove.
So he sat there,
free from torment by parental affection or interest
Small and still.
Things change if you look closer.
If you change things look closer.
Shifting his weight, he let his fingers revive with blood like ants through his palms.

no one can be uncheered by a balloon

I need help.
Walter is trying to find himself, or rather I am trying to find him.
His color..s?
Big eyes? Or little innocent eyes?
He may give in to a little bit of peer pressure.
He may not.

Some things are too good to be true.
